Steven F Jacob

Albion - Steven F. Jacob, 70, of Albion, passed away on Wednesday August 30, 2017, at Goshen General Hospital.  He was born on Sept 25, 1946 in Kendallville to the late Franklin and Dolores (Olinghouse) Jacob.  A lifetime area farmer, he also was a heavy equipment operator.  Mr. Jacob was a former Noble County Commissioner, member of the Rotary Club, C.M.A., and belonged to Vineyard Church in Syracuse and Victory Christian Church in Lehigh Acres, FL.On July 30, 2005 in Syracuse, he married Cinda Eyer.  She survives.  Also surviving are daughters Rachel Myers of Albion, Janet Jacob of Delta, OH, step daughters, Brittany (fiance’ Adam Prior) Eyer of Indianapolis, Michele (John) Pfefferle of Cromwell, step sons Brent Hoffer and Cory Eyer both of Syracuse.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Jolene Rashley, Cassie Rashley, Timothy Rashley, Sarah Myers, Andrew Myers, John Pfefferle Jr., Bradley Pfefferle, Brandon Hoffer, Kaylee Hoffer, Bobbie Freese, and D.J. Martz, 2 great grandchildren, and a brother, Stanley (Nancy) Jacob of Albion.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Phyllis Jacob in 1989.  Funeral Service will be 11:00am Tuesday Sept 5, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, with visitation one hour prior.  Visitation also from 4:00-8:00pm on Monday Sept 4, 2017 at the funeral home.  Memorials to the American Heart Association.  To leave online condolences or sign the guest book, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
