Wawaka - Wolferd "Junior" Cravens, 87, of Wawaka, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Bethlehem Woods Nursing Home in Fort Wayne. He was born on Feb 4, 1934, in Byrdstown, Tenn, to Wolferd and Pansy Cravens. Junior was a US Army veteran and worked for Swanks Rental for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling and fishing. On June 9, 1984, in Albany, Indiana, he married Nancy. She survives in Wawaka.
Also surviving are sons, Terry (Rhonda) Cravens of Sacramento, CA, Michael Cravens of Muncie, Jason Cravens of Millersburg, and Dwayne Cravens of Dunlap, TN; daughters, Deb Cravens of Gaston, Tam (PJ) Marshall of Gaston, Rhonda Lowe of Muncie, and Lisa Cole of Ft. Wayne. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jessica Cravens, Bonnie Vargas, Matthew Marshall, Amanda Montgomery, Anthony Cravens, Lindsey Cravens, Emma Thompson, Seth Reed, Alison Nichols, Zach Cravens, Michael Cravens, Samuel Cravens, and Adam Cravens; and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jack Cravens, and daughter, Tina Marie Cravens.
Private services were held with military honors. Burial took place at Orange Township Cemetery, near Rome City. Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, assisted the Cravens family with arrangements.
