Theodore “Ted” Parvu Sr., 83, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at his residence in Albion. Ted was born on November 26, 1941, to Theodore and Charlotte (Bock) Parvu, in Garrett, Indiana.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for more than 22 years, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. During his decorated career, he served as an aircraft electrical specialist, weather equipment technician, and environmental medicine technician, retiring in 1984. He was a dedicated member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
On December 14, 1962, he married the love of his life, Sallianne “Salli” Rogers, in Stowmarket, England. Throughout his life, Ted was dedicated to providing for his family.
Ted and Salli shared a deep passion for their German Shorthaired Pointers, which they raised and successfully competed with as members of the Arizona Hunting Club.
Surviving Ted are his beloved son, Theodore “Teddy” (Jennifer) Parvu Jr. of Ely, Minnesota; his brother, Michael (Mary) Parvu, of Indiana; and five cherished grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sallianne “Salli” Parvu; his daughter, Lynette Parvu; his parents, Theodore Sr. and Charlotte Parvu; and his brother, Tom Parvu.
There will be no services at this time.
