Teresa "Teri" Ann Coverstone

Teresa Ann “Teri” Coverstone, 75, of Cromwell, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Orchard Pointe Health Campus in Kendallville.  She was born on November 24, 1950, in Goshen, to Clair and Phyllis (Bitner) Archer. 

She was a 1969 graduate of Cromwell High School. Teri enjoyed going to garage sales, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and crocheting.  She also had a talent for writing poetry. Teri also clerked for her family’s auction business Archer Auction Service for several years.

She is survived by her children, Jason (Joanne) Coverstone of Ligonier, Tina (Tim) Gable of South Whitley, Keesha (Cliff) Reed of Kendallville, David (Christina) Altimus of Wawaka, Dusty (Eric) Pischke of Kendallville, Jennifer (Bobby) Herick of Syracuse, and Denny (Latasha) Pischke of Arkansas; grandchildren, Jack Hall, Elizabeth (Braxton) Gable, Trent (Erica) Gable, Olivia (Matt) Dazey, Megan (Clark) Wakeman, Derek Opliger, Dustin (Molly) Wells, Casey Wells, Emily Coverstone, Sadie Coverstone, Ethan Reed, Matthew Reed, Madison Reed, Tyler Ebert, Sarah (Nick) Kowalski, Ethan Ritchie, Abigail Pischke, Mychael Shindler, Aaron Herrick, Raelea Herrick, Gloria Nichols, Jacob (Madison) Pischke, Abigail (CJ) Krause, Noah Pischke, Haylee Pischke, Madlynn Pischke; and great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Savanna, Grayson, Juliette, Elaina, Sadie, Okaley, and Chris.  Brother, Denzel Archer of Cromwell.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clair and Phyllis Archer, sister Clarene Reid; great granddaughter, Nora Wakeman.

Funeral services for Teri will be 11:00am, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.
