Sheila M Stimpson

Sheila Marie Stimpson, 60, passed away on July 21, 2023, at Wesleyan Health and Rehab in Marion, IN. Sheila was born on February 19, 1963, in Santa Clara, California, to Frank and Norma Stimpson. Sheila was a loving person who would give anything to help someone in need. She was caring and kind, leaving an unforgettable impression on everyone she met. 

She spent a majority of her life in California and Minnesota and later settled in Matthews, IN. She is survived by her father Frank Stimpson, her brother Brian Stimpson (Lori), her sister Tammy Bouchard (Matt), her daughter Naomi Hurlock (Jason), her son Jay Ellis (Marlena), and her grandchildren Tarren Hurlock, Jake Hurlock (Annie), Michael Friedrichsen (Lyndsey), Timothy Friedrichsen, Riley Ellis, and McKenna Ellis. Sheila was also loved by her nieces and nephew, Jessica Tabor (Jack), Megan Broeker (Mark), Sarah Bouchard, and Christopher Bouchard and her great grandchildren. 

In her free time, Sheila enjoyed camping, swimming, boating, crocheting, concerts and attending festivals. As a breast cancer survivor, Sheila was an advocate for the Grant County Cancer Society. Above all, Sheila cherished spending time with her family and having Bar-B-Q’s at the lake. 

At this time, no service is planned. However, contributions in Sheila's memory can be made to the Grant County Cancer Society.

Sheila Stimpson will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her generous spirit and kind heart will be remembered forever.
