Sharlene Marie Krause

Fort Wayne - Sharlene Marie Krause, 80, of Ft. Wayne, IN, passed away on October 19, 2025, at Park Place Senior Living. She was born on Aug 14, 1945, in Decatur, IN, to Henry and Atna (Matts) Wagley. Sharlene was a graduate of Purdue, earning degrees in Applied Science and Interior Design. She enjoyed all aspects of interior design and had been employed by Adams & Walda Galleries. Sharlene was an advocate and lover of animals, donating often to charities that cared for animals. On May 6, 1995, in Roanoke, she married Scott Krause. He preceded her in death on Nov 21, 2007.

Survivors include son, Michael Neuenschwander; stepson, Phillip (Loren) Krause; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Katlyn, Brooklyn, Coral, Reese, and Sage; and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Daniel and Andrew Neuenschwander; and brothers Ronald and Henry Wagley.

Her family will host a Celebration of Life from 4-6pm, Friday, Nov 7, 2025, at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Rd. She will be laid to rest at M.R.E. Cemetery, near Berne.
