Scott Sleeper, 57, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on February 21, 2024, at his home. Scott was born on April 1, 1966, to Neil and Carol Mae (OptHolt) Sleeper, in Marshall, Michigan. On May 20, 2006, he married Wanda Hall, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Scott served eight years in the US Navy, after he graduated from Bayshore High School, in Bradenton, Florida. He enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, traveling to the Florida Keys, and loved watching sports and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of Albion; his parents James and Carol Mae; sons Joshua Sleeper and Zachary Sleeper, both of Myakka, Florida; daughter Chelesa Sleeper, of Myakka, Florida; stepdaughter Monica Hutchinson, of Albion; stepbrother Duane Eckelbecker Jr, of Albion, Michigan; sister Cheryl (Carl) Adams, of St. Petersburg, Florida; and half-sister Kathryn Giddens, of Parish, Florida. Also surviving are his grandchildren Christopher Hutchinson, Jada Sleeper, Payton Stone, Brooklyn Stone, River Stone, Jackson Sleeper, Dune Sleeper, Gracelyn Sleeper, Zoey Sleeper, Carter Sleeper, Haylee Hutchinson, and Lucas Hutchinson.
Preceding him in death is his sister Cristy Sleeper, and his grandparents.
There will be no services held at this time.
