Sallianne “Salli” Parvu, 80, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Kendallville, Indiana. Salli was born on November 1, 1944, to Geoffry and Glady (Wilding) Rogers, in Stowmarket, England. On December 14, 1962, Salli married Theodore “Ted” Parvu, in Stowmarket, England.
Salli was the Arts and Crafts Director (GS9) for the United States Air Force, Luke AFB Arizona. She taught ballet while in England, and later in North Carolina. Salli enjoyed bird watching and gardening. She was also an avid oil painter, creating many beautiful works of art.
Surviving Salli are her husband, Ted; son Theodore (Jan) Parvu Jr. of Ely, Minnesota; and three grandchildren.
Preceding Salli in death are her parents, Geoffry and Glady, daughter Lynette Parvu, sister Kay Cubranech, and stepbrother Rex Keeble.
