Garrett – Ronald “Leggs” Pratt, 57, of Garrett, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept 10, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1966, in Chicago to Ronald and Phyllis Pratt. Ron was an outgoing guy who didn’t know a stranger and was known as a guy who wasn’t afraid to speak his mind. He loved Harley Davidson and riding his motorcycle. Ron was a member of the Escort Motorcycle Club since 1990. He also enjoyed watching his hometown sports teams, the Cubs and Bears. Spending time with his grandkids, family, and friends was very important to him.
On March 23, 2015, in Albion, he married Marla Leitch. She survives in Garrett. Also surviving is a daughter, Rosemary Grace Pratt of Garrett; stepdaughters, Bridgett (Cody) Oliver of Wolf Lake, and Tandi Wilson of Albion; grandchildren, Starlette, Treasure, and Finn; sister, Renee of Toledo, OH; mother-in-law, Judith Leitch of Albion; and his special K9 companion, Bruno. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Orland Leitch.
A celebration of Leggs’ life will be 3:00pm, Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Escorts Motorcycle Club House, 1544 N US 33, Kimmell. Memorials are to the family.
