Rickie Lynn “Rick” Waterson age 62 of Albion, IN died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Auburn Village – Auburn, IN. He was born May 5, 1956 in Allen County. Rick married Vicki Kay Friskney on November 29, 1975 in Columbia City, IN. He was a mechanic at Old Castle in Waterloo, IN for 5 years.

Rick enjoyed woodworking, making cabinets and shelves. He built furniture and made his daughter Tracy’s fireplace. He enjoyed Nascar Racing, fishing and watching rodeos.

Rick is survived by his wife: Vicki Kay Waterson, Albion, IN; adoptive father: Harold “Max” Waterson, Huntertown, IN; daughter: Tracy Lynn (Kevin) Strater, Kendallville, IN; sister: Vickie Sue (Dave) Gillett, Lakeland, FL; Grandsons: Kaleb Michael Strater and Samuel James Strater.

Rick was preceded in death by his adoptive mother: Marilyn (Smith) Waterson.

Services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Harper Funeral Home, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, IN 46701 with Rick's uncle: Pastor Larry Smith officiating.

Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Harper Funeral Home – Albion Chapel.

Burial will take place at a later date in Christian Chapel Cemetery – Merriam.
