Neal C. Wolfe, 91, of Albion, passed away at his home on Skinner Lake surrounded by his family. He was born on May 29, 1930 in Ada, Ohio to Charles and Goldie (Black) Wolfe. Neal was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed living on the lake, fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
On June 15, 1994, in Albion, he married Ellen Godfrey. She survives in Albion along with is his daughters; Vicky Lynn Baxter and Elizabeth (Scott) Myers and son; Ed Call. Also surviving Neal are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Mona Witham, Pamela Prouty, Sharon Woody, DeAnn Coleman; brothers, Ned Wolfe, Charles “Chuck” Wolfe, and Harry “Tom” Wolfe; and sisters, Elizabeth Wolfe, Ima Jean Perkins, Vivian Richards, and Lela Roberts.
A celebration of Neal’s life will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Sweet Cemetery near Albion, with military honors. Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
