Linn Leroy Walker

Linn Leroy Walker, 84, of Columbia City, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on August 13, 1941, to Merle and Marniece (Schlotterback) Walker, in Wolf Lake, Indiana.

Linn graduated from Albion High School. After high school Linn served in the United States Army, in Germany. Linn worked & retired from Fairmont Homes in Nappanee, Indiana. On the weekends Linn enjoyed watching NASCAR races.

Surviving Linn are his children Burton Kennedy, of Houston, Texas, Christy (Kevin) Reed, of Columbia City, and Dawn (Keith) Kennedy- Oswalt, of Houston, Texas; brother Neil (Liz) Walker, of Cromwell, Indiana; sister Kay Luce, of Albion, Indiana; grandchild Tommy Oswalt; sister-in- law Karen Roller; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Linn in death is his parents Merle and Marniece Walker, brother Steve Walker, sister Jackie Estep, and brother-in-law Russell Luce.

A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Wolf Lake Cemetery, 415 S 450 W, Kimmell, Indiana. Pastor Dan Carlson will officiate.
