Larry Lee Huff, 79, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in his home, in Albion. Larry was born on June 20, 1947, in Kendallville, Indiana, to William and Alta (Meroney) Huff. On December 11, 1998, Larry married Kathie Orr, in Columbia City, Indiana.
Larry graduated from the International Business School. He worked for and retired from Noble County REMC. He was a farmer, 10 year 4-H member, softball coach, basketball coach, avid hunter, and a 4-H leader. Larry served on the Albion Fire Department for 32 years, including 10 years as Fire Chief. He was also a First Responder for 25 years. Larry served on the United Way Board of Directors and the Noble County Red Cross Board of Directors.
Surviving Larry are his wife, Kathie; stepsons Kyle (Haley Engleheart) Orr, of Kendallville, Indiana, and Taylor (Jenn) Orr, of Albion, Indiana; and grandchildren Trenton Sturgis, Kaidyn Sturgis, Ruelyn Orr, Ezra Orr, and Etta Orr.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents William and Alta Huff.
There will be a family led celebration of life, at a later date.
