Avilla - Kurt Edward Anderson, 61, of Rogersville, Tennessee, formerly of Avilla, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1962, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Gary and Patricia (Winesburge) Anderson. Kurt retired from Hollingshead Mixer Company, Avilla, in August of 2022. He enjoyed taking bike trips to the Upper Peninsula, camping and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Kurt is survived by his sons Jordan (Monique) Anderson, of Avilla, Jake (Larissa) Anderson, of Avilla; brothers Bart (Kelly) Anderson, of Churubusco, Doug Anderson, of Rogersville, TN; and grandchildren Maddy Roembake, Hunter Anderson, and Collin Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Craig Anderson.

Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Swan Cemetery, rural Avilla.

Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St., Avilla, is assisting the family with local arrangements.
