Kenneth "K.C." Mote

Kenneth “K.C.” Mote, 43, of Garrett, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. K.C. was born on March 16, 1982, to Charles “Chuck” and Judy (Middleton) Mote, in Kendallville, Indiana.

K.C. was known to be very loving and ornery. He loved garage sales, flea markets and anything free. K.C. enjoyed puzzles and wrestling on television. Recently he committed his life to God at the County Line Church of God.

Surviving K.C. are his mother Judy Mote, of Garrett, Indiana; and brother Craig (Cassie) Lortie, of Manchester, New Hampshire.

Preceding K.C. in death are his father Charles “Chuck” Mote, grandmother Hazel Black, and grandfather Linzie Mote.

A family led Celebration of Life for K.C. will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the County Line Church of God, 105 W 6th Ave., Garrett, Indiana, in the fellowship hall.
