Karen L (Schultz) Macy

Karen L Macy, 80, of Avilla, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in Avilla. Karen was born on November 15, 1945, to Richard and Iren (Butcher) Schultz, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On March 22, 1974, Karen married Jack Macy, in Roanoke, Indiana.

Karen had a love for animals. She had several exotic birds, including cockatiels and parrots. She also had four dogs that she loved immensely. Karen enjoyed spending time with her husband, Jack, and went fishing with him often.

Surviving Karen is her husband, Jack; grandchildren Joe Evans, Josh Bowers, and Jamie Reeves; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding Karen in death are her parents Richard and Iren Schultz; son Christopher Macy; daughter Julie Macy; and sisters Sally, Sandy, and Joan.

There will be no services at this time.
