Judy Ellen (Beck) Humes

Judy Ellen Humes, 79, formerly of Hamilton, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Avilla, Indiana. Judy was born on May 19, 1946, in Wauseon, Ohio, to Floyd and Elsie (Eager) Beck. On September 17, 1966, she married Rick Humes, in Bryan, Ohio.

Judy was a Girl Scout leader and a member of the Eastern Stars, in DeKalb County. She loved to sing gospel songs and play the piano. Judy traveled with her husband, Rick, all over the world. She was known to be very supportive in all her children's activities.

Surviving Judy are her children Michelle (Kenny) Herron, of Kendallville, Indiana, Amy (Patrick) Pool, of Coldwater, Michigan, and Ryan (Mari) Humes, of Garrett, Indiana; brother Donald Beck, of Coldwater, Michigan; grandchildren Emily Fuentes, Olivia Randol, Magdalena Geraci, Samantha Dunn, Eddie Pool, Isabella Pool, and Jacob Humes; great-grandchildren Giovanetta Fuentes, Lorenzo Fuentes, Kehlani Randol, and Harmony Randol.

Preceding Judy in death is her husband, Rick, parents Floyd and Elsie, brothers James Beck and Gregory Beck, and granddaughter Ryanne Pool.

A family led memorial service for Judy will take place at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the chapel at Sacred Heart Nursing Home in Avilla, Indiana
