Joseph Kohl Obituary

Fort Wayne - Joseph R. Kohl, Jr., 66, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, at Parkview Hospital - Randallia. He was born on April 11, 1956 to Joseph R. Sr., and Shirley (McCready) Kohl. Joe was a graduate of Snider High School. He recently retired as a carpenter from Local Union 232. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and socializing with his friends - he didnt know a stranger.

Survivors include his son, Derek (Amber) Wilson; grandson, Lincoln Joseph Wilson of Fort Wayne; mother, Shirley Kohl; brothers, Bob Kohl, James Kohl, Rick (Jennifer) Kohl, and Tom (Meg) Kohl; and sisters, Cheryl Krieg and Holli Jo Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his father.

In keeping with Joe's wishes, no formal services will be held.
