Jill L Rodenbeck

Avilla - Jill L. Rodenbeck, 54, of Avilla, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Ft. Wayne.  She was born on Sept 29, 1969, in Ft. Wayne, to Jim and Gail (Thompson) Rodenbeck.  Jill loved her family, especially spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Avilla.  Despite her diagnosis of A.L.S., she continued her spirit of giving by being an organ donor.  Survivors include her parents, Jim and Gail Rodenbeck of Avilla; sister, Carla (Scott) Butler of Kendallville; brothers, Marvin (Renee) Rodenbeck of Red Lodge, Montana, and Bret (Deanna) Rodenbeck of Kendallville.  Also surviving are many cherished nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Schenher.  A gathering to celebrate Jill's life will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the fellowship hall of Calvary United Methodist Church, 101 Cherry St., Avilla.  Contributions in Jill's memory may be directed to Calvary Food Pantry as either a cash donation or food item.
