Jerry R Frymier

Albion – Jerry R. Frymier, 86, of Albion, went home to be with his lord and savior on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.  He was born on April 14, 1939, in Albion, to Fredrick “Ted” and Virginia (Reed) Frymier.  Jerry was a 1958 graduate of Albion-Jefferson High School and worked for A&P grocery stores for over 19 years, and later, Village Foods as a meat cutter.  Jerry loved walking around town talking with his neighbors.  He also enjoyed reading, watching the Chicago Cubs, and attending his kids and grandkids sporting events.  Family and his faith were especially important to Jerry.

On September 3, 1961, in Albion, he married Connie Boggs.  She survives in Albion. Also surviving are sons, Rodney (Christine) Frymier of Auburn, Stan Frymier of Albion, and Craig Frymier of Albion; grandchildren, Terra Stowell, Trevor (Alexandra) Frymier, and Tanner (Vanessa) Frymier; great grandchildren, Cadance Stowell, Mya Stowell, Logan Stowell, and Hudson Frymier; siblings, Brook (Barb) Frymier of LaGrange, Rev. Bret (Carla) Frymier of Albion, and Pam Martin of Albion.  Jerry was preceded in death by infant son, Kyle; and his parents Ted and Virginia Frymier.

Funeral service is 11:00am, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Berean Baptist Church, 110 Highland Park Drive, Albion, with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Rev Doug Keenan and Rev Bret Frymier will officiate.  Visitation also from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Harper Funeral Homes, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion.  Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.
