H. Joan Lough, 95, of Avilla and previously of Big Long Lake and New Haven, passed away peacefully at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, on Friday, January 5, 2024. She was a 50 plus year member of The Order of The Eastern Star, Waynedale Chapter #600, and retired from Chronister Pharmacy in Kendallville.
She is survived by sons Mike Lough of St Petersburg, Florida, and Tom Lough of Monroeville; daughter Nancy (Marian Thibeau) Lough of Albion; sister Virginia “Ginny” Roberts of Auburn; grandson Evan Lough of Monroeville; and sister-in-law Ellen Jane Luellen of Fort Wayne.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gordon “Wimp” Lough, son-in-law Dennis Fieber, daughter-in-law Linda Lough, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Service will be 3:00pm, Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Harper Funeral Home, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St, Avilla with visitation from 1:00 until time of service. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, in Fort Wayne.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joan’s memory may be made to Noble County Humane Society.
