Gregory A. Knepper, age 67, left us on January 12, 2023. Greg was born October 2, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
An intellectual, hard-working man, Greg was always moving and “on the go”. His exceptional work ethic contributed immensely to his success as a business owner.
He enjoyed raising Clydesdale horses on his farm; after spending many years breeding Clydesdales and traveling to horse shows around the country.
Not a man afraid to get his hands dirty, Greg was always engaged in multiple projects around his farm. Endless hours were spent working on tractors, machines, and farm equipment. Headstrong and persistent, there was virtually no problem he couldn’t solve. Quality – not quantity was his mantra.
When Greg was not working and problem-solving, he relished in fishing, target shooting, and time with family.
He is survived by his children, Amanda (David) Langston; Matthew (Vickie) Knepper; Michael (Allena) Knepper; and his Partner in Life, Kelly Knepper. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother; Thomas Knepper; his sister; Deborah Sterling; and sister-in-law, Charlene Knepper. He was preceded in death by his parents; Donald and Virginia (Kaough) Knepper; his brother, James Knepper; and brother-in-law, Bob Sterling.
He expressed his desire to have any funeral services or memorials held privately with only close family.
Please direct contributions in Greg's memory to the Humane Society of Noble County.
