Gail (Newsome) Brumbaugh

Albion - Gail Brumbaugh, 78, of Albion, passed away on June 10th, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family in her final moments. Gail was born to Gordon and Elsie Newsome on December 26,1947 in Floyd County, Kentucky. She worked at Parker Hannifin and later retired from Nisco.

Gail married Terry Brumbaugh on February 6th,1965 in Brimfield, Indiana. They were married a beloved 58 years, along with bringing two children into the world. Gail loved to travel and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine (Terry) Haygood of Churubusco; son, Shane Brumbaugh of Albion; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Farner, Alisha (Kyler) Likes, Chase Brumbaugh, and Caylah Brumbaugh; and 2 great grandchildren, Paisley Likes and Sadie Likes.  Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Kay Coyle.

She is preceded in death by her mother Elsie; father Gordon; husband Terry; and sister, Bonnie Coyle.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Monday June 16th, 2025, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 12p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the services at Wolf Lake Cemetery. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, mother and father.
