Frances I Leitch

Frances I Leitch, 73, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at her home in Albion. She was born on August 25, 1950, to Jack and Velma (Smith) Osborne, in Wolcottville, Indiana. Frances married William Leitch on May 6, 1972, in Rome City, Indiana.

Frances retired from Johnson Controls. She enjoyed exploring genealogy, leather working, crocheting, puzzles, watching movies and horses.

Surviving her are her son, Eric Leitch, of Ft. Wayne; daughter Amy (Cliffton) Hackworth, of Albion; sisters Pat Gangwer, of Kendallville, Mary (Richard) Coats, of Albion, Bonnie (Earl) Schuster, of Albion, Barb Owens, of Huntertown, Sharon Bennett of Albion; grandchildren Shonda Hackworth, William Hackworth, Lori Howard, Heaven Leitch; great-grandchildren Ava Howard, Sophia Howard, and Johnathan Hackworth.

Preceding Frances in death are her husband, and her parents.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Friday, December 29, 2023, at Harper Funeral Home, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion. Burial will follow at the Wolf Lake Cemetery, in Wolf Lake, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the funeral home.
