Dustin Thomas Faltermeier

Albion – Dustin Thomas Faltermeier, 40, of Albion, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 2, 2024.  He was born on October 4, 1984, in Phoenix, AZ, to Thomas Faltermeier and Tisha Jo Morgan.  Dustin was the facilities maintenance manager at Maple Leaf Farms for the last several years.  In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles – Harley Davidson and Victory bikes, being outdoors on the lake, or sitting around a fire.  He enjoyed playing board games with his kids, watching movies (though he was known to fall asleep before the movie ended), and was a true Dallas Cowboys fan.  Above all, Dustin was known for being kind and caring.  He was always willing to lend a hand, even to complete strangers. 

On September 24, 2022, in Albion, he married Kristy (Nelson) Jordan.  She survives in Albion.  Also surviving are children, Hope Faltermeier of Albion, Saige Faltermeier of Albion, Lexii Jordan of Fort Wayne, Laney Jordan of Fort Wayne, Prestin Faltermeier of Albion, and Justin Jordan of Fort Wayne; and grandson, Kohen Faltermeier. In addition, he leaves behind his father, Thomas (Maria) Faltermeier of Yuma, AZ; brother, Ryan Faltermeier of Avilla; sisters, Stephanie Cisneros and Samantha Petras both of Phoenix, AZ; stepbrother, Logan Cunningham of Yuma, AZ; paternal grandparents, Van & Veronica Worthington of Phoenix, AZ; and maternal grandparents Ken & Brenda Morgan of Ocala, FL.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Tisha Jo Morgan on Dec 28, 2001. 

A funeral service celebrating Dustin’s life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, Indiana.  Family and friends may gather from 11:00am until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.  The celebration of Dustin’s life will continue immediately following the funeral service at the Wolf Lake Gun Club, 3284 Wolf Lake Road, Albion, Indiana.  As his friends and family will continue to share what Dusting meant to them, along with a balloon release, food, and fellowship.
