Diane L (Coy) Slone

Kendallville - Diane Lorraine Slone, 67, of Kendallville, passed away at home with her family by her side on Friday, June 13, 2025.  She was born on Dec 8, 1957, in Kendallville, to Robert W. and Dolores A. (Leitch) Coy.  Diane married Randy J. Slone, in Albion, on April 27, 1991.  She spent most of her career in banking.  Diane was a long-time member of the Albion Wesleyan Church where she served as treasurer.  In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved to quilt, sew, and craft.

Survivors include husband, Randy Slone of Kendallville; daughter, Hilary J. (Chet) Skiles of Avilla; son, Seth T. (Tonya) Slone of Ft. Wayne; grandchildren, Logan C. Skiles and Blake R. Skiles; and brother, Paul (Linda) Coy of Albion.  Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Joey (Curt) Fenker, Jenny (Johnny) Mays, David (Christina) Altimus, Keesha (Crick) Reed, Jennifer Herrick, and Dusty (Eric) Pischke.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Pischke.

Funeral service for Diane will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Albion Wesleyan Church, 800 E Main St., Albion, with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Pastor Sam Maddox will officiate.  Visitation also from 5-8pm, Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion.
