Daniel Ray Stennett, 53, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at his home. He was born in Kansas, to Danny and Bonnie (Croll) Stennett.
Danny loved to work, and for the last 15 years he was the owner of the Half Acre Cafe, just south of Albion. He also enjoyed golfing, football — especially University of Michigan and the Dallas Cowboys, traveling, and going to the casino. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
On July 15, 2006, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he married Lynette Schoiber. She survives in Albion.
Also surviving are a daughter, Jena Rae Tressler, of Tempe, Arizona; stepson, Gilbert (Tiffany) Moralez, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Sa'Niya, Antonio, Kayden and Kylee; and sister, Anita Solis, of Ohio, and her children, Leandra, Freedom and C.J.; as well as his special aunt, Paula; mother and father-in-law, Michael (Amy) Schoiber and Kitty "Cookie" (Ralph) Knapp; his K-9 companion, Sadie; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of Dan's life will be held at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Sept 22, 2022, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 p.m., until the service begins on Thursday.
