Cris (Carissa) Ellsworth

Roanoke – Cris (Carissa) Ellsworth, 34, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.  He was born on October 22, 1990, in Berlin Germany to Kenneth R. Ellsworth and Melinda S. Henry.  Cris was recently employed with Tek Coat & Spray Custom Paint Shop where he was able to use his talent for painting. 

He enjoyed many things, above all, his family.  Cris also enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and being around the kids. His passion for painting was a driving force in his life.  He will be remembered for his gentle heart and kindness shown to others. 

Survivors include his mother, Melinda S. Barto(Dennis Weimer); father, Kenneth R. Ellsworth; daughter, Makayla; girlfriend, Sara Klingenberger and her children, Lily, Gabe, Tempe, and Max; paternal grandmother, Nola; 4 aunts; 6 uncles; many cousins; and countless friends who he loved. 

A celebration of Cris’ life will be held at a date to be announced.
