Rome City - Craig A. Streich, 80, of Rome City, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at his home on Sylvan Lake. He was born on March 28, 1945, in Kendallville, to Edward and Virginia (Kline) Streich. Craig was a graduate of Kendallville High School. In his free time, he enjoyed reading and spending time at the lake. On January 23, 1971, in Kendallville, he married Jackie Cooper. She survives in Rome City along with their fur baby, Lexi.
Also surviving are a daughter Lesa (Neal) Edgington of LaOtto; sons, Christopher (Jill Grobis) Streich and Joshua (Erin) Streich both of Kendallville; grandchildren, Emery Mossman, KathAnn Cassel, Andrea (Andrew) Allman, Grace (Stephen) Cox, Kendyl (fiance' Garrett Maag) Garton, Kylie Garton, and Kane Garton; great-grandchildren, Aedyn & Ahriana Mossman, Alydia Shellman, Claire, Braxton, and Liam Allman, Kaiden Cassel, and Kolby Cox; and sister in law, Nancy (Streich) Burtch of Kendallville. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant children, Shaun & Stephanie; and brother Lee Streich.
