Charolette L Robinson

CHAROLETTE L. ROBINSON, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.  Born Dec. 4, 1930, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Bernadean (Weber) Waltenburg. She was introduced to her future husband, Kermit Robinson, on a double date. They married on Nov. 11, 1952 and were blessed with many happy years together. Charolette spent many happy hours at her cottage on Steinbarger Lake with Kermit, family and friends. Charolette loved all animals, especially dogs and cats. She retired from Colwell General.

Charolette delighted in her grandchildren and great- grandchildren - attending many musical performances and sporting events. Charolette had a deep love for her Lord and was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven, Ind. Surviving are three children Charolette and Kermit raised together, Kathy Sliger of Fort Wayne,  Bruce (Pam) Robinson of New Haven, and Barbara (Ross) Stevens of Stoughton, Wis.; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Elizabeth (Betty) Adams and Bill Waltenburg. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Fred and Bob Waltenburg; and a sister, Mary Walker.

Memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven, Ind., with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Contributions in Charolette's memory are to Emanuel Lutheran Church.
