Albion – Carol Ann Wilson, 73, of Albion, passed away on Wednesday, Jan 14, 2026, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville. She was born on June 30, 1952, in Kendallville, to Woodrow and Edna (Leitch) Budd. Carol worked many years sewing for Schroeff Manufacturing in Ligonier. In her free time, she enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, Andy Griffith, and Family Feud. She also enjoyed working in her garden. Carol especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Carol married Lawrence “Pete” Wilson on May 25, 1969, in North Manchester, IN. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2022.
Survivors include sons, Ronald (Michelle) Wilson of Flippin, Arkansas, and Weslie Wilson of Albion; daughter, Shannon McFarland of Albion; brother, Ray Dean Budd of Ft Wayne; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Jerry Budd.
A funeral service celebrating Carol’s life will be 11:00am, Monday, January 19, 2026, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Ron Stratman will officiate. Visitation also from 3-7pm, Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
