Brenda Wayne (Flick) Schmidt

Brenda “Wayne” Schmidt, 78, of Albion, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, in Avilla, Indiana.

Brenda was born on Jan. 5, 1947, to Andrew and Rebecca “Jane” (Owen) Flick, in Bristol, Tennessee.

Brenda enjoyed Hallmark movies, macramé, gardening, and canning the vegetables from her harvest. She loved to listen to the radio program, “The Through the Bible”, by Dr. T. Vernon McGee. Brenda was also known as “Nana” by her grand and great-grandchildren.

Surviving Brenda are her sons, Chad (Gina) Willett, of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Anthony (Amanda) Schmidt, of Mascoutah, Illinois; sisters, Patricia Pearce, of Greenville, South Carolina, and Elaine Edward, of Blountville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Sydnee Morr, Jared Willett, Bethany Willett and Lauren Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Emmit Watts, Parker Watts and Iyla Willett.

Preceding Brenda in death were her parents, Andrew and Rebecca;, sons, Gregory Willett and Matthew Schmidt; and brothers, Andrew Flick Jr., and Jimmy Flick.
