Betsy Ann (Pfeiffer) Mueller

Avilla - Betsy Ann Mueller, 75, of Avilla, passed away at her home in Avilla on Friday, December 22, 2023.  She was born on Oct 12, 1948 in Michigan.  She worked for the Avilla Elementary and Middle School over many years.  In her free time, Betsy was an avid reader.  She also loved being with her grandchildren - including 4H and wrestling.  She also supported her husband with his soccer events.  On November 11, 1968, in Fort Wayne, she married Reinhold Mueller.  He survives in Avilla.  Also surviving are children, James (Carmen) Mueller of Avilla, and Beth (Yogi) Weimer of Kendallville; and grandchildren, Jacob (Sarah) Weimer, Nathaniel Weimer, Tyler Mueller, and Haley Mueller.  Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Werner and Lucille (Beeber) Pfeiffer; sister, Bonnie Vaughn; and brother, Bill Pfeiffer.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St., Avilla, with visitation from 11:00am until 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betsy's memory may be directed to Swan Township 4H or East Noble High School Unified Sports Program.
