Barbara "Barb" D Evans

Barbara “Barb” Evans, 83, of Avilla, Indiana, passed away on December 24, 2024, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Barb was born on December 11, 1941, to James and Norma (Mitchell) Scott, in Niles, Michigan. On August 18, 1960, Barb married James Evans in DeKalb County, Indiana.

Barb enjoyed celebrating her Indian Heritage. She collected Kachina Dolls, and various other Indian items.

Surviving Barb are her children Scott Evans, of Avilla, and Terry McBride, of Ohio; grandchildren James (Mary) Evans, Devlin Walters, and Storm Evans.

Preceding Barb in death are her husband James Evans, son James Evans Jr., brother Jerry Scott, and her parents James and Norma Scott.

There will be no services held at this time.
