Barbara Jean (Bair) Andrews

Barbara Jean Andrews, 79, of Avilla, Indiana, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Barbara was born on April 18, 1946, to Richard and Mary Jane Bair, in Clevland, Ohio.

Barbara was known to always be ready for adventures. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with her friends. If you knew Barbara, you knew all about her Laughlin Turn Around trips.

Surviving Barbara are her daughters Rhonda (Richard Yarian) Fastiggi, of Avilla, Indiana, Danielle (Robert) Lawler, of Milford, Michigan, and Venice Sinker, of Canton, Michigan; bonus daughter Amy (Dan) Ruja, of Stockbridge, Michigan; brother Michael (JoLynn Bolinger) Bair, of Clinton, Tennessee; sister Judith Bair, of Cleveland, Ohio; grandchildren Patrick Becerra, Trista Fournier, Ty Kemmerling, Christopher Gregson, Bobby Lawler, Bailee Kemmerling, Brandi Harvey, Alyx Kemmerling, and Samuel Kemmerling; great-grandchildren Connor, Gracelynne, Skylar, Ozzy, and Delaney; nieces and nephew Verona Bair, Pam Griffin, Amber Bair, Ashley Bair, Nick Bair, Melanie Bair, and Mary Blevins; and longtime friend Dee Evans.

Preceding Barbara in death are her parents Richard and Mary Jane Bair; siblings Lila Bair, Patrick Bair, Richard Bair, Mary Bair, Patricia Dye, Teddy Bair, James Bair, Joan Blevins, and Kathy Hunter; and long-time friends Eli Ruja and Marie Hall.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
