Anna Marie McClelland

Albion - Anna Marie "Annie" McClelland, 91, of Albion, passed away at her home on Friday, August 20, 2021.  She was born on Feb 9, 1930, in Stroh, to Carl and Edith (Wilson) Gundrum.  Annie married William J. McClelland on July 30, 1946.  He preceded her in death. 

She loved children, and many generations of kids around Albion came to know her as a mom.  She especially loved her grandchildren.  Annie also enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching Walker, Texas Ranger. 

She leaves behind her sons, Michael E. McClelland, Donald R. McClelland, and Ronald J. McClelland.  Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, 36 great great grandchildren, and a sister, Mary Shipe-Hollie.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, William A. McClelland; daughters, Anna Kay Sweezy, and Edith E. Cureton; brothers, Bill, Lloyd, and Otis Gundrum; and sisters, Wilma Wilder, Marjorie Kurrle, and Shirley Smith.

Funeral service is 11:00am Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, with visitation one hour prior.  Rev Randall Rinehart will officiate.  Visitation also from 4-8pm, Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.
