Allegra N (Keister) Melvin

Allegra N Melvin, 68, of Kendallville, Indiana, passed away on Friday August 22, 2025, in Lagrange, Indiana. She was born on February 17, 1957, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Harvey and Mary (VanWagner) Keister. On January 8, 1977, she married Donnie Melvin, in Albion, Indiana.

Allegra enjoyed living on a farm and milking cows with her husband. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds.

Surviving Allegra is her daughter Holly Melvin, of Kendallville, Indiana.

Preceding her in death are her parents Harvey and Mary Keister, and her husband Donnie Melvin.

Services will be at 1:00pm, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion. Burial will follow at Rehoboth Cemetery, in Albion. Pastor Sam Maddox will officiate. Visitation will be 11:00 to 1:00pm, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the funeral home.
