Vivian L (Ross) Snyder

Vivian L. Snyder, 90, of Avilla, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.  She was born on May 1, 1927 in Fort Wayne to the late William and Elenore (Young) Ross.  She was a graduate of Central High School in Fort Wayne and on May 31, 1947 she married Von Snyder.  He preceded her in death in May of 1990.  Vivian did clerical work at International Harvester.  She loved to go camping with her family and enjoyed reading.  She is survived by her son Steven Snyder of Fort Wayne, daughters, Katherine (Robert) Diehm of Avilla, and Peggy (Tom) Bender of Fort Wayne.  Also surviving is a brother, James (Mary) Ross of Fort Wayne, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Underwood, grandson, Nathan Millage, brother, Frank Ross, and sister, Rose Morman.  Funeral service is 1:00pm Friday, July 28, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St., Avilla, with visitation from 11:00 until service time Friday.  Pastor Bret Frymier will officiate.  Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.  Memorials to Parkview Noble Hospice.  To leave online condolences, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
