Timothy D Ransburg

Timothy D. Ransburg, 46, of Auburn, passed away after a sudden illness at his home in Auburn on Monday September 28, 2017.  He was born on Nov 1, 1970 in Kendallville to Robert Ransburg and Pamela Wilson.  He was a 1989 graduate of Central Noble High School in Albion.  Tim worked for Applebee’s restaurants for over 20 years as a General Manager at various locations.  He most recently was employed by General Parts as a systems administrator.  Tim had many hobbies including reading, drawing and art, watching documentaries, and just learning something new when it struck his interest.  He especially loved his cats, and spending time with his family.  Survivors include his mother and stepfather Pam & Nick Cardinal of Albion; sister, Laurie (Weber) Holbrook of Albion, and several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.  Funeral Service will be 7:00pm Saturday September 30, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion.  Pastor Bret Frymier will officiate.  Visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00pm until 4:00pm, and from 6:00pm until service time.  Donations in Tim’s memory may be directed to DeKalb Humane Society or American Heart Association.  To leave online condolences or sign the guest book, please visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
