Randy Lee Hissong

LaOtto - Randy Lee Hissong, 58, of LaOtto, passed away on Monday February 12, 2018 at his home in LaOtto.  He was born on Aug 26, 1959 in Auburn to the late Richard and Betty May (Payton) Hissong.  He was employed with Paragon Steel in Butler.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, golf, coin collecting, and spending time with his grandkids.  Randy also was known for tinkering with all sorts of gadgets, and "fixing" them, even if they didn't need fixed.  He leaves behind his daughter, Jennifer Hissong of LaOtto, sons, Jason (Kyla) Hissong of Ft. Wayne, and Justin (Jenny) Hissong of Butler.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Mekena, Jacey, and Gracie; brother, Dennis (Deb) Hissong of Auburn, and sisters, Karen Hissong of Kendallville, and Sue (Robin) Hissong-Debes of Kendallville.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 4-8pm Friday February 16, 2018 at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St., Avilla.  In keeping with Randy's wishes, burial will be private at Fairfield Cemetery.  Memorials are to the family.  To sign the guestbook or leave online condolences, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
