Railee Ewing Obituary

ALBION — Railee Onna Ewing, 2 1/2 years old, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018.

She was born in Kokomo, Indiana, to Harold Ewing and Misty Matson. She loved being outdoors, either trying to ride her bike or playing with monster trucks toys. She was never seen without her sippy cup. A kind and loving girl, she always greeted people and said goodbye with a hug. Railee was a free-spirited kid, even enjoying wearing her cowgirl boots around the house.

Survivors include her mother, Misty Matson of Albion; father, Harold Ewing of Flora, Indiana; a sister, Kaeann Matson of Albion; maternal grandparents, Cristian (Barb) Matson of Albion and Joyce (Chad) Schnelker of Waterloo, and Jamie Matson of Logansport; paternal grandmother, Katie Swanner of Royal Center, Indiana; and maternal great-grandparents Jim (Sharon) Matson of Avilla, and Penny and Kenny Selking of Decatur. Also surviving are aunts and uncles Ronald and Flora Ewing, Corey and Tabitha Ewing, Russell and Daysha Bennett, Christopher Lee, Arizona Matson, Noah Matson, Gage Schnelker, Bowe Schnelker, Andrew Wood and Sara Murray.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N. Main St., Avilla, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Orange Township Cemetery near Rome City.
