Patricia A. “Pat” Lambright, 77, of Avilla, passed away on Saturday September 30, 2017, at Presence Sacred Heart Home in Avilla.
She was born on April 14, 1940, in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late John and Marguerite (Borne) Donovan. On March 27, 1969, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she married Karl Lambright. He survives in Avilla.
Along with her husband, Pat owned and operated the Shamrock Mobile Home Park in Avilla. She also sold mobile homes for many years. More recently, she was a baker and prep cook for the Elk’s in Kendallville. She had many hobbies that kept her busy including cooking and baking, tending to her gardens, playing cards and games. She kept an immaculate lawn and would not allow anyone to mow it besides herself. Pat loved watching football, being a big Denver Broncos fan. She was also a friend of Bill W.
In addition to her husband, Karl, she is survived by three daughters, Dee (Greg) “Wise” Saylor of Columbia City, Kay Wise of Fort Wayne, and Judy (Danielle Van Brackel) Lambright of Dayton, Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren Keith, Brian and Kyle; great-grandchildren Maggie, Gracelynn, Ava and Henry; brother Mike Donovan of Longwood, Florida, and sister Judy Byes of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Wise; brothers Lewis, Jim and Jerry; and son-in-law Kevin Cassidy.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N. Main St., with visitation one hour prior to service.
