Albion - Lovella Ann Ford, 92, of Albion, passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017 at North Ridge Village Nursing Home in Albion.  She was born on April 2, 1925 in Gibson City, IL to the late Harvey and Lela (Mehrer) Shellman.  She was a lifetime area resident, marrying Robert Ford on August 17, 1974.  He preceded her in death in June of 1994.  She was employed by Kraft Foods in Kendallville for many years.  In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, traveling, and bowling.  She leaves behind a son Earl (Bonnie) Schuster of Albion, daughter, Ellen (Dave) Pippenger, stepsons, Roger (Jody) Ford of Ft. Wayne and Regan (Terri) Ford of Kendallville.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Lisa Hein, Bruce Schuster, and 8 step grandchildren, great grandchildren, Crystal Ramirez, William Smart, Brianna Schuster, and Heather McCormick, and great great grandchildren, Ryder Cope, Greyson WIlliamson, Ella McCormick, and Ava McCormick; a sister Natalie Leitch of Kendallville, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Schuster, grandson, Brian Schuster, brother, Robert Shellman, and sisters, Marilyn Brumbaugh, and Genevieve Leitch.  Funeral Service is 11:00am Wednesday November 1, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, with visitation one hour prior.  Pastor Bret Frymier officiating.  Visitation also from 2-4 & 6-8pm Tuesday October 31, 2017 at the funeral home.  Burial at Sweet Cemetery, rural Albion.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lovella's name may be directed to the Humane Society of Noble County.  To leave online condolences or sign the guest book, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
