Linda Leitch

Columbia City - Linda L. Leitch, 66, of Columbia City, passed away on Saturday February 3, 2018 at her home.  She was born on July 9, 1951 in Noble County, where she was raised.  A 1969 graduate of Central Noble High School, she married Norman Leitch in August of that same year.  Together, they had 4 children.  Linda moved to Columbia City where she spent the later part of her life.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed reading and word searches, and couldnt pass up a garage sale.  Surviving are her children, Craig (Michele) Leitch of Ligonier, Angie (Matt) McClellan of Columbia City, Adam (Angel) Leitch of Alexandria, VA, and Aaron (Kathy) Leitch of Spanaway, WA.  Also surviving is her companion Woody Wallen, grandchildren, Lane, Brandi, Kody, Savannah, Kailyn, Jacob, Nick, Brehtt, Mattison, Taylor, Sierra, Logan, Jordan, Lucas, Bethany, Shyanne, and Alyssa, and great grandchildren, Billy, Kylie, and Hanna; and birth-father, Stan (Sue) Bonar of Wolcottville; and several siblings.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Norma Schott, grandparents, and granddaughter Shawna.  Funeral service is 11:00am Thursday Feb 8, 2018 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 3-6pm Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.
