Albion - Larry D. Hague, 70, of Albion, passed away on Thursday February 14, 2019 at his home in Albion. He was born on Nov 30, 1948 in Kendallville, to the late Owen and Lavon (Simon) Hague. Larry graduated Albion Jefferson High School in 1967 and joined the marines shortly after. He served for 10 years, including in Viet Nam. He worked at Magnavox for many years and was a licensed electrician, HVAC, and sheet metal worker. Larry was a member and past commander of Albion American Legion Post #246 and served many years with the funeral honors detail. Larry is survived by his companion of 20 years, Judy Herendeen, a daughter, Theresa Mann of Portage; sons, Hide (Lisa) Hague of Waxahachie, TX, and Kristopher Perkins of St. Marys, GA. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and siblings, David (Val) Hague of Albion; Bill Hague of Alaska; Susan (Jim) Balthrop of College Station, TX; Kent (Susie) Hague of Fort Wayne; Christine (Bert) Foster of Albion; Diane (Joe) Robinson of Albion; Deb (Terry Inlow) Robinson of Albion: Amy (Brent) Dreibelbis of Churubusco; and Dan (Susie) Hague of Albion. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Hague. Military Graveside Honors will be 2:00pm on Wednesday February 20, 2019 at Rose Hill Cemetery on West Main St in Albion. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Tuesday February 19, 2019 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion.
