Thank you for the memorial of John. I remember his parents, Johnny & Nancy. I got to stay with them some in Olean when I was little. My parents were Otto & Jean Shaffer, Otto being Johnny's oldest brother. I was young when we last saw John & the other children. ~Cleo Shaffer Morgan

So very deeply sorry at the loss of your Father and Grandpa. We know you weren't ready. We never are. Please know that you have been in our prayers over the last few days and will continue to be. We were so happy to have shared the day of Evy's baptism with John. He sure loved his Granddaughters and I am sure will watch over Baby Shaffer when he arrives. You have our Love.

John popped into visit with his Uncle Lynn when he was back in the area. His visits were always welcomed. Maybe now his visits will be longer. May his soul rest in peace. Sincerely. Aunt Carol Shaffer
