Harold Lee Ober age 84 of Albion, IN died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Harold was born April 11, 1935 in Garrett, IN to Manford J. and Valera B. (Lung) Ober. He married Roberta D. Mynhier on November 26, 1958 in Wolcottville, IN. Harold was a Korean War Army veteran - serving from 1954 - 1956. He was a farmer and maintenance person for INDOT, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Sweet Church Community Organization and Pheasants Forever.

Ober, Albion, IN; son: Mark (Jodi) Ober, Albion, IN; daughters: Jamei (Jeff) Boyer, Nappanee, IN; Marla Ober, Albion, IN; brother: Larry Ober, Albion, IN; grandchildren: Dr. Brittany Shepherd, Albion, IN; Stephanie Gehring, Ossian, IN; David Ober, Indianapolis, IN; Derek Herendeen, Panama City Beach, FL; Kristen Pepple, Ft. Wayne, IN; Cory Gaff, Kendallville, IN; Colin Boyer, Elkhart, IN; Daniel Ober, Mishawaka, IN; Chelsea Foster, Sellersburg, IN; Sarah Ober, Goshen, IN; Justin Boyer, Charleston, S.C.; Morgan Danso, Granger, IN; Bethany Bird, Panama City Beach, FL; P.J. Lutteringer Jr., Columbia City, IN; 19 great grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Manford J. and Valera B. Ober; daughter, Vicki Anderson; brothers, Robert Ober and Jerry Ober; and sister, Kathy Wittkamper.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2019, at the Sweet Church Community Organization, rural Albion, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Mark Ober officiating.
Visitation also will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion.
Burial will follow in Sweet Cemetery with military honors by the Albion American Legion and the United States Army.
