Elizabeth Ruby

Elizabeth L. Ruby, 91, of Albion, died on Friday Feb 24, 2017 at North Ridge Village Nursing Home.  She was born on June 16, 1925 in Roosevelt, MI to the late William and Pearl Mills.  She married Joseph Ruby on Nov 15, 1970 in Suitland, MD.  He preceded her in death on Aug 7, 1998.  She worked as a buyer for childrens clothing and retired in 1971.  Ms. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Cheryl & Richard Eckert of Albion, and grandchildren, John Weisenburger and Mark (Kelli) Weisenburger, great grandchildren, Brandon Weisenburger, Charity Weisenburger, and Faith Weisenburger, and sister in law, Barb Funke.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Funke.  Funeral service will be 6:00pm Tuesday Feb 28, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home.  To leave online condolences, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
