Donnabelle Celia Myers

KENDALLVILLE —  Donnabelle "Celia" Myers, 89, of Kendallville, passed away on Friday August 18, 2017.

She was born on March 12, 1928 in Warsaw to the late Wilbur and Zoah Ada (Blue) Ross.

A lifetime area resident, she married Donald Myers on January 6, 1945 in Albion. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2012.

She loved music, and could play by ear, often playing her dulcimer. She enjoyed antiquing, collecting pottery and traveling the south.

Survivors include her children, Cynthia L (Al) Berhalter of Kendallville, Bennie J (Judy) Myers of Kendallville, Kathie Z (Dan) Stahl of Kendallville, Starr K Young of Kendallville, Donnie D (Susan) Myers of LaGrange, Dawn F. (Bill) Luke of Avilla, Le Ann (Jim) Oiler of Michigan, Thoma L. (Shane) Bry of Auburn and Jacqueling (Gary) Gates of Michigan. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday August 23, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N. Main St., Avilla, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Mike Albaugh officiating.

Visitation also from 2-4 p.m. and  6-8 p.m. Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Sweet Cemetery, rural Albion.
