Darrell E Brown

Elkhart - Darrell E Brown, 62, of Elkhart died on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Elkhart Hospice House.  Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Francis and Phyllis Brown, he was raised in Albion, Indiana.  Darrell was active with Foundations of Noble County and ADEC(Association for Disabled of Elkhart County). Darrell was an active bowler.  He participated in the Special Olympics in bowling and track and field events. Darrell loved country and gospel music. Darrell was a friend to all and was one who was easy to talk to. Surviving brothers are Ormin (Sherry) Brown San Antonio, TX, and Trumin (Debbie) Brown Gulf Breeze, FL and sisters Annetta (Mikel) Ropp, Elkhart, and Angela Brown Kansas City, KS. sister in law Brenda Brown Haverhill, NH. There are several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Francis Brown and Phyllis (McComb) Brown and brother, Terrill Brown.

Funeral Service is 1pm Monday December 18, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road.  Pastor Bret Frymier will officiate.  Visitation will be Monday from 11am  to 1pm at the Funeral Home.  Burial at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.  Memorials are to ARC Foundations of Noble County or ADEC. Online condolences can be sent to www.HarperFuneralHomes.com
